Do you think bountiful sunlight is worth it?
I'm 30/30 int/faith with white hair talisman taking advantage of pyro/miracle buffs.. Lately I got faith to 35 to make use of bountiful sunlight, but considering it takes two attunement slots and only (according to wiki) heals 3hp per second more than bountiful light, is it worth the extra investment?
Only main attraction is I can help people a bit in co-op as it buffs other people too, I just wonder what other people think of the investment worth of this, or should I just grab another tongue and go back to 30.

If you've a free ring slot you could always use that ring that raises your faith by 5 for co-op sessions.

Considering the fact it costs a lot of FP for the amount it does, I'd say no. Great Heal can heal you and your allies for more, and costs less FP too.

Also take into account the fact Bountiful Sunlight uses 2 slots instead of 1, which makes it seem wasteful unless you have the slots to spare.

I did think of that but it's difficult to find one I want to drop - at the moment I'm using favour/chloranthy/lingering/deep ring.. I guess I could drop chloranthy.

True, that makes sense. It does seem a bit... eeeehhh. Oh well, it was worth trying it, but I did feel a bit like I was wasting my time on it a little. Should I waste time invading or waste time killing darkwraiths lol..
Great heal for coop runs, soothing sunlight for boss fights (that AoE can be a life saver for poor hosts).

The duration is to short shamely on the spell, even with dragon lingery ring +2.

I also use it in the area before anor londo. I throw down my gold summon sign for the fun of it (it seems the best place to get team pvp going). Even if you're in the aldrich faithful covenant invading there, you can use it too. Otherwise yeah it's good for co-op bosses too. So if you're not really interested in either co-op or team pvp then it's not worth.

Man, this brings back fond memories of playing hero with that spell in DkS2.

I always wonder what hosts are thinking when they suddenly see their HP recovering, saving them from what they thought was certain death.

I tell ya, my inbox was brimming with glorious lovemail after Smelter demon and bountiful sunlight. Saved a lot of lives in Scholar!

it's up to you, really. You have all the informations. I prefer it in coop because it buffs other phantoms and it's 600HP in total. It's 2 slots instead of one but this only matters if you have very low atunement. I also see that you are mixed faith, pyro so that is a more complicated build in terms of spell choice, in that case I would not even use the 1 slot bountiful spell either and carry more pyro stuff instead.

Yeah my build is a little weird I guess, I wanted high-ish faith/int to make use of weapons like witch's locks and chaos infusions, and frankly pyro and miracles have useful utility spells.
Seems like it can be useful, if I'm helping people (which to be fair I do a lot.. I like helping for some reason).. /decisions
