what's the best healing spell?

i'm working my way up to the 35 faith spell using the soul of (insert name here because i forgot)
but right now i'm not seeing a whole lot of differenct between med heal and bountiful light.

they both seem to heal the same ammount of health which doesn't make sense to me. i would think it be logical that the gradual healing spell would heal for a considerably higher number than an instant medium heal for how long it takes to heal..

also, what's the best talisman/chime for healing?

i'm to understand it's the "spell buff" stat in these that effect better healing.. and from what i can see the beginning "talisman" item seems to be the best. but i don't know if i'm wrong on that.

the wiki doesn't give me any comparable numbers to look at either.. so i'm at a loss

The heal over time spells are not affected by Faith.

From what I've heard the Canvas Talisman is the best until I think 50 or 60 faith, then it's Yorshka's Chime.

It depends HEAVILY on what you want from the spell.

Try what you can find and see what works for you. You'll get your answer far quicker doing that than here.

I believe Soothing Sunlight will heal you the most, strictly speaking, and it also heals in a larger area. However, I found on my faith build that Great Heal was more than sufficient. At 60 faith great heal can heal you for around 1400 hp (Don't know the exact number) and that's about the amount of health I had at the time.
