are you twelve years old?
Then again, i've heard the current pope meta is being actually a bit of a good guy, thus easing up a bit.
I'm working a faith build right now with pope robes, they work great because of the royal look.
Minimum faith you should be running is 35, ideal is 60 for casting. If you plan on doing offensive casting, do lighnting spear with saint-tree belvine and 20 dexterity for maximum spellcasting speed. If you want to go even faster for your other spells, try the sage ring. Also mourne and sunborn rings highly recommended.
The ideal for pvp and pve is fast spellcasting, since lightning spear can be popped fast and does x2 damage at melee range, so its suitable for 1v1s.
Dark miracles are kind of... borked for pvp though, much too slow and weak, and they don't track like how pve enemies cast. Avoid them except for buffs.
Also invest in 15 dex and get the Sage's ring early to trim down the lengthy cast time.
Also make sure you have "prayer" emote in your quickbar
