Trade one undead bone shard for porcine shield?

This shield just looks hilarious, though it doesn't block 100% physical and is worse than a lot of the alternatives... still bashing someone's face in with a pig has a certain appeal I can hardly resist.

Unfortunately the only way to get it seems to be to trade away an undead bone shard. I'm fairly decent at the game, so I guess I could do fine without one of the estus upgrades (especially since I tend to use the "better estus" ring).

Eventually I do want to do play new game plus and do some competitive PvP - lf I miss out on one bone shard, will I forever be slightly gimped or how exactly does new game plus handle undead bone shards? Does the bonfire ever upgrade beyond bonfire level 11 in new game plus?

I have no helpful informations for this. But I would say go for it. Screw the best stats for equipment or Flask level. It's all about Fashion Souls. And a really good player could beat any noob naked, so what does it matter. :D

No you wont. Estus is +10max

If you new game+ all bone shards respawn, so if you want the shield go for it
