Accidentally consumed soul of stray demon

Once you eat a soul, it's digested, gone, ♥♥♥♥ out of luck. You'll either have to soldier on without it until you reach New Game + (where game world is reset), trade with another player (good luck with that), or abandon ship and start a new character.

If you want to waste a fantastic amount of time, I suppose you could create another player as a mining char, password up and join / host a TRUSTED friend, drop your goods (friend picks up), and then reload the primary character, having the TRUSTED friend unload your goods for you to retrieve.
