Are there spiders?

If there are, are they hairy, realistic, horrible and that kinda stuff. I'd like this game but I have arachnophobia and I don't want to risk it.

Get over your phobias, that's what Dark Souls is for.

PS: Yes there are spider like creatures, mini bosses mostly.

Well, closest things are these centipede-spidery kind grudge creatures. Aside from that, you should be fine as far as I know.

Also there's only two of the aforementioned spider doggies in the entire game and at least one of them is 100% avoidable (as in, you don't even have to see it) if you look up its location beforehand.

actually both are avoidable, the second one only drops down if you go in specific spots.

Yes, there are spider-like, hairy half lady monstrosities in the Irithyll sewers.

There are a few spider mobs, one is easily killable (the ones in the sewers, the other one, not so easily... anyway aslong as you avoid the later one, you should be fine.

Arachnophobia is my worst fear. I can't play Bloodborne because of this (one day i will play it and finish it), I hated the spiders in ds2, so, I understand you very well :S Eventually I manage to win my fears and go on in the game..besides this, there is an ugly giant thing very close to be a spider, and the first encounter could be pretty traumatic.

Are you scared of realistic looking spiders? If so, then you would have no worries of these "spiders" The only thing that can be seen as a spider in that monster is the legs. They have like 16 legs. So no worries.

No real arachnid-insectoid-bug spiders. But two multi-limbed monsters.

One type is a hairy beast, that looks kind of like the head belongs in Shadow of the Colossus. Kind of adorable in my opinion.

Another is more mutated freak of nature that looks similar to the girl from the Ring movie, but happens to have many many limbs. There are a ton of these in some areas, in the water. Waiting for you to get close.

There are 2 spider-like creatures. One looks more like a dog/spider hybrid, the other is more like an ugly lady with spider legs. They are really uncommon though, especially the dog/spider hybrid.
