Well, I crystal buff a raw weapon, but you could just make a crystal weapon. Your weapon still scales massively with high INT, so unless super highly resistant, it's still better to use magic weapons.
I will agree the regeneration is just pathetic for mage characters. On average spells consume at least 20FP, and the Simple infusion only regenerates roughly 1FP every 3 seconds fully upgraded.
For instance, the Sunlight Straightsword needs mana (even just 1) to cast the Sacred Oath buff.
I have it on a parrying dagger, it's alright. The regen rate is pretty slow but it does help weapon arts retain thier usefullness longer. It's not really good for spells though.
Either way, it seems broken to have something in the game that gives chracters that don't use spells infinite mana while characters that do use spells get the shaft.
