Darkmoon Blade is 170AR with 40FTH and a Canvas Talisman+9
Lightning and Darkmoon blade start to pull away at higher Magic Adjusts. If you have 50+ FTH the Saint's Talisman will be even better.
I should point out, I'm talking about DarkMOON blade no Dark Blade right now. Darkmoon and Lightning Blade have the same ATK adjust, though I think Darkmoon Blade gets some bonus damage or simply ignores certain defenses as the actual damage increase is quite large. (Maybe it's tied to Darkmoon rank like DS1's Darkmoon Blade miracle?)
Wait, found the thing on fextra, darkmoon/lightning are 95 or 96* (spellbuff/100), while dark blade is 85. I don't think the 11% more damage boost is worth the 40% more cost.
That 11% can often be the difference between killing mobs before your stamina drops, or having to roll away and risk another engagement. Trust me when I say, if you are theorycrafting off numbers and not practical use, you're only getting 1/4 of the story.
Also it is kind of a rant on how you cannot even case 3 spells at 18 attunement if they are decently high cost ones, yet you have 3 slots.
The amount of FP you have to cast spells is pitiful, and the more I invest in this hybrid character, the more I feel i am not getting very much returns from those investments compared to a pure melee character.
