need help keep spinning once i plug my ps4 controller in
exactly what the title says i cant stop spinning when the controller is pluged in and it works fine with other games

Hmmm are you using DS4? If so, go to settings and turn on the "Hide DS4 Controller" option. I was having spinning issues, in addition to the controller randomly not working, and that fixed it for me.

Reinstall all your controller drivers. It's in the Device Manager/Human Interface Devices, and delete all HID-compilant stuff there. Then reconnect your controller. If it doesn't install on it's own, do that thing you did the first time you got it working.

EDIT: Do what the other guy said first. I didn't use DS4, but had the same issue. So the solution may be different.

sometimes you have to restart steam, the controller program too. big picture mode on steam, does things to your controllers, evil nasty things...

iv found the problem thanks for the comments it was to do with ds4 and me having to make it hide the controller

I uninstalled the HID-compliant game controller, unplugged my controller and plugged it in again and it's fixed! thanks mate
