Black Bow of Pharis Drop
I killed the first big guy with the tree, but he killed me at the same time. I didn't get anything from him. I then killed the second one and got the stone shield. I killed the third one by making him walk into fire, but no bow drop. What gives?

Because you have to kill ALL THREE on a single life run, you DIED before killing ALL THREE.

The treasure triggers from the death of the trio. ;)

Sure you got the right guys? One should drop the bow and another should drop the hat. And those should be "auto looted" items.

If that mob doesn't respawn then you're screwed. Just the way the soul games has always been.

I've gotten it on the first kill.

Yeah, they're about as north as you can go in Farron.
There's another group of three in the Center did you get them by mistake?

It's a specific one of the trio who drops the bow. You sure you didn't just kill that one last?

Well, that will be good news in a future gameplay, I read somewhere you must kill the ENTIRE trio to get the bow drop. I didn't feel like risking it, Bows are ALL you get as a caster for long range. XD

Also, that hat is awesome, still wearing it.

Just tried it again in my game. It is definitely auto-loot.

I'm pretty sure you have to kill all of them to get the auto drop

Edit: easy way is to kill them all from the bridge near the ruins bonfire.

I just killed all 3 and didn't receive anything. No popup or white choice. Stayed alive the entire time, retraced my steps. All 3 were killed in specific spots where retracing would be obvious. Cheesed 2 of them inside a 4 door tower. Killed the last in the cave with mimic. >:(

There are more than 3 of them, make sure you got the right 3.

You should've got the bow, it drops on kill, if one dropped a shield, I'm assuming you've killed something different.. The stone parma (which is the stone shield I assume you're talking of) is an item just sitting on the floor waiting to be picked up.

Of the trio involved with the black bow, one drops nothing, one drops the black bow of pharis, and the other drops the pharis hat.

And you don't need to kill all 3 without dying, I've died before while taking them out, and was still able to get the bow & hat.
