Weird screen showing random items

Whenever I lock on to an enemy or even attack it I get this weird screen with a bunch of items and stuff over the other. It goes away after I kill or stop being locked on to the enemy but it's annoying... Anyone else have this issue?

send an email to from/namco with some screenshots and a detailed explanation on when it happens. it's the only way you can hope it will stop happening (other than, probably, make another character or entirely delete/cut-paste away your save file and start from scratch).

It just happened after the new update so i think it's because of that but I will send an email

Not sure what you are experiencing ... but when ever I use a bonfire...
I see a HUD element pop up showing the toxic/frostbitten /curse bars (empty)
They pop up in the midde of the screen, about 4-5 of thern all under eachoterh like a list.

Wierd thing is it was never like that... it only started recently.

Try checking cache integrity.

also give them as many details as possible about your system and maybe even the settings you are using in the game (at least the graphic settings).

that's caused by some equip/s and is not related to his problem.

Probably you are wearing some ring for +5 str/dex/int/fai or shield of want? I have seen that too but never took time to discover what exactly causes this.

I changed the resolution and it went away. I found the solution in my own thread!

I personally read this and just quit out of the game then reloaded the game, now it's gone.

If it's the colorful screen with Japanese characters that looks like a list or a menu, then that's a really old bug. It was never fixed. The only thing that helps is logging out and reloading. I seem to remember that the bug can be triggered by sitting down at the bonfire in the firelink shrine and then getting up again several times in a row.

insane that this got two replies after 8 years but yeah, I never encountered it again after that one instance in 2016. If I remember right it happened in Irithyll near that bonfire in the church, and it looked like some kind of debug screen with a bunch of different items.
