Does dexterity affect attack speed in any way?
Says "reduces spell casting time", but I feel like I am really doing attacks way faster after stacking some dex. What does attack speed (the entire time it takes to complete one single swing of a sword) scale with anyway? Is it influenced by equip load and weight in any way?

Just another kinda noob question :)

Nope. It's just based on your weapon.

theres weapon scaling.
for example:

a greatsword that starts off at scaling D for str and dex - lvl 10 str and dex on your character.
a greatsword at scaling B for str and C for dex - lvl 20 str and dex on your character.

it works that way so yes, lvling up dex will speed up attacks but its based on the scaling of the weapon not just the lvl.

Nope. Scaling affects damage, not speed.

Dex does decrease your casting time. If i remember 45 dex lets you cast pyromancies about 1 second faster.

Probably less than that. It still makes a difference, though.

It depends on the spell. The ones with longer casting times profit more.
