Catacombs question near bridge

This takes place after you cross the bridge and cut it forcing the skeletons to fall down. When you turn around and look right and down there are items and another path. Am I missing another way over from this side? If I sit at the fire after the boss and come back the skeletons on the other side all spawn. If I cut the bridge again I can't get back across.

Are you suppose to just kill them all or am I missing something?

Are you talking about Old Demon King, (where you climb down the bridge cuz you destoryed it like the hero you are) or High Lord Wolfnir, (and his magic cup)? Don't try to lie and say that you didn't touch that cup! Cause after you're done with one, go deal with the other. Then on to Smoldering lake if you'd like.

Neither, I have killed both. If you cut the bridge and face the open area now and look to the right you will see items and another path. Once the bridge is cut you can not run back to the other side. The only way to get here from what I see is to run there when everyone spawns and either kill them or die unless this turns into some area where they stop.

Apparently it's where the girl is after you kill horace down near old demon king. I'm trying to find that girl b/c I went back to start of catacombs where you see her again and she is not there. I looked up where she was and apparently that is where she is.

look at when you enter that room, you can either go across the bridge, go to the right which is how you would cross if a invading phantom cuts it on you where you can drop down on the ledge path or you can go left to another way.

Ok, you can go up the stairs from the magic cup, (and I know you couldn't resist touching it. No one can!). That way will lead you to Irithyll of the Boreal Valley. I would recommend Smoldering Lake first, which is towards the bottom from Old Kings Antechamber.

I have been there already. like I said I am trying to find the girl that was with horace who you killed in smoldering lake.. All of those areas are cleared already and i'm familiar with it all. I'm already in boreal valley.

I guess I will just dump my souls and make a run for it when they spawn and see what happens. I kept thinking I was missing something and there must be another way around. Maybe I can trap the skeletons and kill them with pyro then run to the other spot.. You can clearly see an item there which is next to the only skeleton in the zone who is not dead when you walk in.

he is standing there near the ledge with a large weapon in his hand whereas the rest of the skeletons have not activated yet.. this is where I am talking about.

There is no way you could have missed that Murakama-wielding skeleton and progressed through the level. You probably just missed the item. From the catacombs bonfire, turn left after the shortcut gate (leading to the breakable bridge) and follow the path.

Well I never ran over to him b/c as soon as I went into that area I saw all the skeletons who came to life. The first time they trapped me and died. Second time I saw the bridge and ran across it. Was fighting one when my sword hit the bridge and killed the rest of them. I looked back over and saw that Marakama skeleton, but never messed with it.

Cleared the actual boss then went back before hitting bonfire and noticed I could go down. Hit the bonfire, triggered the bridge again and went down. Cleared that area, killed horace and tried to find the girl again but couldnt. looked it up where she is and here I am now.

Ok, sorry I didn't catch on quicker. Now I see where you're at, however, I don't know if I can be of much help. It depends on the storyline and even then it can get weird sometimes. I don't know if it's a glitch or whatever, but sometimes even if I do everything almost identical to my last char run-thru, I won't find a certain someone showing up where they were before. After I closed and restarted though, Anri was where she was supposed to be. Maybe by tomorrow someone will reply that ran into that same issue. Sorry that I couldn't be a bigger help. Best of luck.
