Grand Archives - knights at the huge staircase

I'm having a hell of time with these three knights. I don't seem to be able to backstab them. The shield wielding one devastate my stamina with the shield slam, and if I somehow manage to kill these two the GS wielding just maul me to the ground. How should I deal with these?

are u facing them one by one or 2-3 at a time? apparently its possible to just fight them one by one

You can pull one, as soon as that one starts attacking the others will aggro but you can make the bow/twinblade user fall off the ladder for a 1v1. The others is a matter of pulling them apart so you can 1v1 those aswell.

I drew them out with a bow and abused their shields by kicking them for ripostes. The GS one...get good at rolling or parrying, your pick.

fwiw when i beat them i just bottlenecked them at the staircase i initially went up to trigger them. no backstab needed.

Run pass those enemies. There is no point to fight them. Just run to the elevator because they will not follow you.

...Just ignore them? You can run past and open the doors lol. You're invincible during the animation, and they won't even follow you through the doors.

killing them all gets a titanite slab so its very much worth it

I do believe we are talking about those knights right before Princes boss fight not Winged Knights on top of the Archives

Just run pass them and unlock shortcut on the right. After that you'll not need to fight them anymore.

I will try that. And there seems to be four of these knights. I didn't see the last one.

I managed to run past them (the knights) and unlocked the shortcut. I just don't like to leave any loose ends anywhere so I might sometime try to take out all of those nasty knights.

i just baited one at a time. with how much damage they do fighting more than 1 is suicide
