But never forget that it's Dark Souls. git gud against the odds
Well you're an incredibly lucky/rare sort. THe only good PvP I get anymore is via use of the soap stone. Every time I do a red orb invasion I'm in a world with three people or the second I show up I see "summoning phantom" followed by "summoning another phantom". But I'm glad you have had some good hosts.
It's definitely the only time I've used one. I got invaded and they kept mob hugging to heal when I flawlessly kicked their ass. A seed put a stop to that IMMEDIATELY.
Unfortunately with games like this, if you don't kick up a fuss and make a lot of noise, things don't get fixed. It's not like the developers have a team of people working 24/7 to find problems with the game once it's released, it's up to the community to make some noise. The more people who know about this, the more noise will be made and (hopefully) something can be done about it.
Several people, in this very thread, didn't know that. People sometimes....
I'd expect this to get nerfed.
Also judging by the fact that I've only had a seed used against me in maybe 10% of my invasions, I'd say the majority of the community is not aware of it.
