I use the Farron greatsword. I know it's ultra stupid, but it's fun to be stupid.
Dancefloor or Nostalgia?
Then you got your answer.
I nailed the overhead flip's windup with my Profaned GS' charged R2 and it was a stagger. Hyperarmor would have prevented the stagger because it nullifies all incomig poise-damage.
Not sure about the spin but the start up of the ninja jump has no poise.
Thats a shame. Feel like the weapon arts without Hyper armor isnt worth it.
I'm currently using the twin Katanas with the humping attack as weapon arts and its completely unusable bc of lack of hyper armor. I'm considering switching to greatswords and i cant decide.
There is also the Cathedral of the Deep if he hasn't explored it yet.
Hit someone twice with R1s/L1s, then press L2 - if they roll directly away, they get caught and you've a guaranteed L1-followup.
Just one thought, you can use it for more combos. That's why I like it - no relying on trading hits and hyperarmor, but smart play and combos.
