Did anyone check if upgrading this weapon will increase damage with Storm King towards Yhorm?

Does anyone know why this weapon doesn't deal increased damage to anything other than the fight it's supposed to? I mean, There are OTHER Giants... and it does nothing against them

Cause the sword is in the place of its homeland thing and that makes it do more damage and ♥♥♥♥ or something.

why would you want that. they ruined this fight by making it so easy. it should have been 10 or 15 hits not 5

you probably had some co-op, or NG+. it was 5 for me

First, its way more than 5 if you are solo.
Second, its even more if you have phantoms.
Wanna challenge? Dont do this fight with phantoms again.

When I used the blade I did about 5200 damage with it. I agree that it could've been a better fight if it required more hits, or perhaps had you do something to make him vulnerable to it.

It doesn't even do damage to the regular giants you find in the game. I feel scammed.

Those arent the same type of Giants. Yhorm is the type of Giant seen in Dark Souls 2. The rest of the giants you see around are from Dark Souls 1.

I never coop ,and it was the first play.He has 28k HP and the sword does 3600 damage

That's fair enough, call up some other players and let them each wield a SR, it's pretty fast to go through yorhm.

If you solo him, just postpone the time and hit him one by one, don't get greedy to chop him twice or three times, just be patient.

Thats actually a cool idea. Deal to him enough damage, he goes on his knee for few seconds, strike with a Storm him for massive damage.

That's untrue. Yhorm has a face, something that DS2 giants lacked.

He absolutely goes down in 5 hits (unless the ~37 damage I did physical was enough to kill him)

He does not. He has a skull, yes, but his character model ingame and in the CGI show him looking like the giants of Dks2

Yhorm has eyes, you can see them through the opening in his chain mail hood.

He has red eyes and ♥♥♥♥. He has a face lol. And he fact that the sword doesnt do increased dmg to other giants I find super annoying. They are different, but still.

On a different note has anyone used it on the cursewood greatwood tree? In one of the descriptions somewhere it says "only a storm can fell a greatwood" so does it do extra dmg to the tree as well?
