If you only want one you can get it from one of the hanging corpses in Undead Settlement, in the area with the fire demon outside the giant's tower.
edit: there's nothing to lose on any of my chars if you want to abuse any of my pvp chars for a few pale tongues.
1) Luck: every point gives 1 item find, 99 at maximum
2) Coins: 50 from normal, 100 from gold. Patches sells the normal ones. Keep using them for the item find buff
3) Crystal sage rapier: 50 item find. You dont need the stats to wield it. You can use it in offhand and 2H your right hand weapon as I did with a claymore and still get the 50 iDiscovery. You can use 2 of these if you can get them but you'll probably need to transfer them from alts
4) Symbol of Avarice: Mimic head, gives 100 ID, more than 99 luck! Slow HP depletion but its no big deal. It's a rare drop from mimics so use as much ID as possible when you kill one
5) Covetous Gold Serpent Ring: 50 ID. Siegward's cell in Profaned Capital. You can get a 100ID one in NG++
Even without raising luck you can have 200 discovery from the mimic, ring and rapier, and another 50 from rusted coins on top of the base of 100 for 350 discovery in total. It can be much higher if you respec for luck with Rosaria, get 2 crystal sage rapiers (with the stats to use them) and then NG++ ring. I've also heard Greirat the thief can sell gold coins if he survives Lothric Castle but no one knows how to save him.
You can farm the Darkwrtiths in Farron Keep. If you have the doors that lead to the Abyss Watchers open then there are 2 that spawn on the path very close to the Farron Perimeter bonfire. The drop rate is pretty low, but if you only need one it shouldn't take too long.
Kill people.
Keep killing.
If you lack skills, even then will only take a few hours.
Stop trying to ruin pvp.
There's enough of us who are really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pissed that the "protector" class counter-invades don't work for them that you want to farm this stuff for your "STEAM LEVEL ACHIEVEMENTS" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Go play Stardew Valley, ffs.
Edit: If you don't want to put the work in, just use a cheat engine.
You'll be softbanned, but you won't care: you've got the STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS CLAP LIKE A MONKEY, right?
Oh, and the hidden bonus: we won't have to put up with your crap ruining what little online pvp there is.
