Best builds for PVE (armor, weapons,stats...)

which you think would be your ideal build?

Anything that gives me a fast roll, honestly. High str/vig builds are probably the easiest, as it's melee and lots of health. The best build for pve will always will be the build you like the most. You can beat the game with any weapon/armor set. Just matters what is most fun.

in this game? go with any straight sword and spam r1 until the end. enemies don't have poise in this ♥♥♥♥.
but in the catacombs a great club could help, since every hit makes the skeletons break apart.

Well, if you like to change, do as flusha said, go with what you like best. I spent almost all game with a great club becuase me like them big weapons. But it's crap compared with a straight sword. You deal 3 hits with them before you land one with the club and they stagger the same way

My pvp build is havel helmet, smough armor, dark gauntlets, and wolf knight leggings, which a mixup of weapons that include gotthard twinblades, FUGS, and my trust buckler and grass crest shield. Rings are generally leo ring, hornet ring, Chloranthy ring +2 and fap ring.

The armor set makes me look rediculous, and will intimidate (or confuse) all who see me. Tiny ass legs + giant chest + havel helm.
