How many hours to complete the game

I've heard that it takes 30-35 hours to complete the main game. im 38 hours into the game now, and I just opened up the elavator/shortcut from the Grand Archives to the rooftop. Pretty sure im close to the end. (right?)

I have killed every optinal boss so far. And explored everywhere. So I haven't rushed it, but im not very slow either. I kill most bosses in 1-3 tries. (I used a lot more time on Pontiff, Aldrich and Nameless King tho). I just cant help thinking about everyting some people must have missed out on :P

I havent done any NPC sidelines tho, I find them way too complicated sometimes. And not very rewarding, considering im not that into the lore

So how many hours are you into the game or how long did it take you to complete it..?

I took 44 hours for a first playthrough (counting PvP and optional backtracking)

I took roughly.... 20 or so I think. Can't remember.

Thats without backtracking to kill opinal bosses I guess..?

Ok, so based on people here used 40-70 hours(and one who used 20), I guess what I've heard about the game taking around 30 hours to complete must have been estimated for people who just want to complete the main game

People have done it less than 20. It depends on how you want to play, if you're ♥♥♥♥, or just want to speed through. I have no idea what the ♥♥♥♥ mine would be since I left it on for a couple of nights, but I imagine it was around 28 hours since I wanted to get all the armor and get sun medals

It took me 70 hours and 113 levels to get to the final boss... I did take my time, looked for every bonfire, tried to explore as much as I could, etc. But there are still things I missed, I have a last boss to slay among other things.

I feel like you definitely need to rush to complete the game in 30 or less. It took me about 40 hrs according to in-game timer and i still haven't explored Archdragon peak.

What boss is that?

I just beat it in 2 hours 49 minutes, including all bosses. So, it's that long, after some point!! There's a speedrunner that hits the game in 72 minutes! So, it's that long...lol But, my first playthrough was 16 hours, killing all bosses except Old Demon King. Weird how that works, isn't it? I'm also hearing people say on average that they beat it around 30-35 hours. It'll depend on skill and such, I suppose!

Exactly. Thats what I think too. I have spent maybe 1 hour with PvP and being Invaded combined. And I used maybe 30 minutes on Pontiff. Maybe 1 hour on Nameless King. So I have wasted a bit of time. But I just can't imagine people are able to get to all the bosses in the game in 20-30 hours:P

16 hours should barely be enough traveltime to run to all the bosses:P
