How to drop items?

how do you drop items? i found the crows and i want to drop something haha

go into your inventory and select discard. you can discard all of your items at once to the crows to save time. remember to discard and not leave otherwise youll lose your items.

It's leave, not discard. Unless they changed it discarded items will just disappear.

You have to Leave the item, discarding makes the item disappear.

please ignore the trolls, if you leave the item instead of discarding it onto the ground the item will be deleted

dude, i know the difference between discarding and leaving...
but i have neither option in my inventory

discarding = trashing the item, it will be gone for ever
leaving = it appears on the ground and can be picket up by you or another player, or if its one of the items the crow wants it gets replaced by another item which can then be picked up by you.

Sounds like you're in the equipment tab and not the inventory tab.

then youre probably missing the chromosome item from the high wall of lothric, if you go to the tower on the wall bonfire and backtrack around a corner you should find it.

Well it should be there unless you're trying to drop items you can't or you're in the equipment tab instead. Unless this is an issue on the consoles to which I can't help.

yeah... i know what a missing chromosome means... i wanted an actual answer, because it seems i have a bug if i cannot drop stuff
