Old demon king... srsly? it real kill him alone at SL 52?

No sure if you're writing in English or not, but yeah, the Old Demon King can be quite a pain in the ass... until you get used to his pattern and the RNG Gods are on your side and he doesn't AoE the crap out of you.

Wat.exe He's litterally one of the easiest bosses in the entire series, his attacks can be telegraphed a mile off, he swings his hammer SO SLOWLY. Walking around him will litterally end his life.

Did half of the dmg with melee but it was easier to stay on range and hit him with a bow. You can easily roll away from his attacks if you're not close.

Even if you re too close, have you seen how slow his hammer swings? He's got to have the slowest attacks in the series, apart from Old Iron King.

The hammer is easy to avoid, have your read the rest? Those AoE ♥♥♥♥♥ that you can't see because of the crappy camera angle can be quite annoying... or maybe it was just me, I was too tired the first time I tried him, but man it was annoying. Kept on combusting into my face almost every time I got a hit in...

It was either just you or I'm lucky because he barely ever landed a hit on me, I could pretty much always tell when he was gonna do something bs.

Just roll behind and right click him. I completely skipped over Cathedral zone and went straight into the demon area. Your SL is fine. Summon phantoms with huge weapons.

He has no difficult/hard to predict or dodge attacks. I died a few times to him in my NG but he's easy once you learn his moves.

On the wiki originally he had 13,000 HP, so I'm guessing From nerfed him at some point.

And here i thought old demon king was the easiest boss... I used sorcery to take him down, and i thought it was some kind of mini-boss; not an actual real boss he died so easily.... Guess range is the solution.

Maybe it was just me... in melee range, neither his butt cheek or leg movement telegraphs the combustion he is about to blow into your face ( sure you can 'cheese' him from a distance... also, I was only lvl 30 something when I encountered him the first time ). The RNG Gods were definitely not on my side either because the bastard seems to have combusted almost every time I got in a hit... not to mention the stupid mechanic that allows mobs/ bosses to hit you and deal dmg while you're knocked down and have to way to move / dodge ( of course, you can't do the same because the ♥♥♥♥♥ have invincibility frames after the knockdown, so you have to wait for them to almost stand up first )... that was just great.

Sorcery makes some things ridiculously easy. Try to melee him, he has some ♥♥♥♥ moves.

There's no RNG if you know what to do. Just dodge to his side if possible. Jumping into his crotch = death, mostly because of the camera and lock-on system.

Yeah, cause him using the same attack multiple times in a row has nothing to do with RNG... of course, good luck trying to blind-dodge attacks you can't even see coming because of the camera angle ( again, melee range... i won't even go into different weapon attack speeds and recovery frames... sure, sure 'adapt to the situation'... then let's just use ranged attacks on everything in the game... easy mode is the norm, I guess ). But whatever you say...

Just treat him like you would the first boss of dark souls one, stick to his backside or crotch and when you see him lift his hammer straight up back off, anything else roll into his crotch and between his legs, all his attacks are stupidly easy to dodge and barely deal damage. Didn't need a shield to beat him either. Hell the demon you fight just to get to the smoldering lakes is more difficult simply because it actually deals damage.
Was level 49 when I killed him with a balanced build, 20 str, 20 dex, 20 vit, 20 end, and a small talisman with heal aid/ sharp sellswords twin swords +5 in fallen knight armor.
