is the Painting Guardian's Curved Sword worth buffed?

When Sharp it scales S dex, but is it a nice weapon in dex builds? talking about the moveset, matchup against other weapons, if it´s easily dodgeable in pvp, those things.

Some of us are kinda low on titanite, or just want the opinion of others. I would dislike farming to get a weapon upgraded, then doing 10-15 duels just to find out it's terrible. Plus, since every one has his opinions on weapons, I like asking people what they think, even if I already have them upgraded.

The painting guardian sword has a fairly low base damage and that damage base damage will be even lower with a sharp gem. Overall I don't think it is worth it, but if you really want to use it you could make it work. This latest game has a lot of viable options and you should never feel pigeonholed unless you want to use the Dancer Swords :)

Damn, don't remind me. So beautiful, yet so terrible. As a dex char, I feel like FROM didn't want me to use boss weapons.

For DEX weapons im a bit excited to get the Chaos Blade... i know it comes later in the game (don´t tell me when) is there any other dex weapon before it to remplaze the ol´good uchi?

I've got mine at +9 currently and am thinking about using a slab to +10 it. Will play with it after that...but slabs are just so hard to come by :( NG++ already.

Chaos is pretty early in the game, you can get it before Vordt on the first cycle.

I upgraded all Katanas to +9, with 40 str/40dex. Washing pole (sadly) rekts every other Katana, be it in damage and range of course. Maybe if you put Sharp on the Uchigatana it will be better, but not a lot I believe.

Replace the Uchi? No not really.. Uchi, Washing pole, and Chaos Blade are all pretty equal oddly enough.

You could look into the Murakumo, basically any japanese sword is great lol
