Either the dual katana's or the Washing Pole. Katana's are poorly balanced atm and so neither are the shorter katana's faster nor do they use up less stamina per swing. They also do less damage than the Washing Pole so there is really little reason to use anything else.

depends really! Bloodlust is cool for stabbing yourself and buffing your sword. Use chaos blade for a slight challenge of losing some health each hit but having an awesome parry ability and an S dex scaling.

I have a great time with Onikiri and Ubadachi in PvE. More so than the Uchi. The damage output is pretty insane and it covers a wide area. The only downside to those weapons is that it's found pretty much near the end.

The Washing Pole is technically 'the best', but it's a very cheap weapon. Not to mention it looks disgusting. It's huge. The Black Blade and Uchigatana are the best until you find Onikiri and Ubadachi. It really all comes down to which move set you prefer, unless of course you decide to go for the Washing Pole. Sadly, the Chaos Blade has less AR than the rest of my katanas. I've no idea why, that's rather ridiculous.
