Explanation of Flynn's Ring?
If I am correct, the higher your equip load, the higher the damage or is it something mechanically different?

yeh lol I thought it was the other way round.
Lower the equip load, the higher the dmg.
Logically, I don't think this would penalise you for being heavy, but it may have a starting equip load % till it starts working so you could be wasting a ring slot.

This rewards lighter players who rolled thief and stuff to that sort of thing.

It does have a maximum weight over which it does literally nothing, and even at the lowest possible weight it can only give +15% AR maximum. It's also based on actual total weight of equipment, not equip load. It's a bad ring.

Nope, it's the opposite. For every point in equip weight, the ring get's 1% less powerful. It starts with a 30% increase in damage, so by 30 equip weight it's basically useless.

I am usually a naked player...I prefer maximuming the damage and avoiding making mistakes via rolling.

It's 15% at the low end, not 30.

yeah I guess if you're going totally naked it's free damage sure but there's probably a better ring you could put in that slot.

Yeah, it's pretty much useless with a build with heavier equipment. So if you're doing everything naked then you should be fine.

You're probably right. I haven't really tested it yet, and I read somewhere 30%, so I said that.
