Blessed or lightning?
I'm wondering which would do more good for a str/fth build (gonna pump more to faith, around 50)?

Oh, and how would those infusions affect on a talisman/chime? Any experience which one has more benefits for casting miracles?

Wondering the same thing myself, except for dex/fth :)

Pfff, what kind of man of faith uses dex! ;) back on topic: blessed might be better if one wants to only use buffs with the chime right? Lightning would help more on offensive miracles... Or am I totally wrong.

lightning ftw

if its just the one weapon go lightning, personally i run anri's sword (which is blessed as base) buff it with blessed weapon alongside a blessed parrying dagger and the health regen all that gives is useful but not game changing, lightning just gives more damage and is generally the better damage type

Blessed is useless unless it's on a shield, an off hand weapon or to clear the catacombs.

Go for lightning if you want damages.
If you want even more damages? A sharp dex scaling weapon that you buff with the lightning blade miracle!

Thanks eft! What about talisman then? Blessed kinda sucks huh, unless you hold two of them at the same time eh?

How effective would holding 2 blessed items and the tittymonsters ring that returns hp/second be?

if you are going to 50 faith the best casting implement would be Yorshka's Chime if you are willing to kill her for it as it has the best magic adjust at that level, below that the saints talisman

Not sure if it stacks. In PvE this could be viable if it stacks. In PvP, having a blessed weapon means decreasing dramatically your damage output for something that will not help you that much.

Best tali is saint talisman especially for PvP.

i can confirm it does stack, as to damage output anri's sword tops 400 AR before buff on a longsword moveset if you have the luck investment

give up a ring slot on whats already a gimmicky build, i guess it could be alright but i doubt its worth it

Hm, yeah. About rings too.. Got the one that boosts miracles, but should I count on dedicating ring slots to more miracleboosting ones? Are there even more? :D

there are 2 miracle boosting rings (mornes and suns firstborn) which do stack i believe, unfortunatly they dont effect buffs or heals so are only worth it if you plan to make heavy use of offensive miracles

Lightning has better faith scaling but blessed isn't bad if you want pure physical damage. I've got 2 Dark swords and switch between them depending on the area. With my blessed shield, my healing factor is pretty useful. To give you an idea of how they stack regen, I can wear the symbol of avarice without hp drop when I have the blessed sword and shield equipped.
As far as actual damage, my lighting dark sword does ~400 damage to silver knights

So.. you suggest that a weapon should have lightning-infusion (which will stack with buff-miracles, right?), shield with blessed and talisman/chime with lightning (if I plan to use offensive miracles)?
Am I getting it right? :D
Eftwyrd Apr 21, 2016 @ 3:30am
elemental infusions prevent you from buffing the weapon further i believe, lightning is probably your best option, blessed is a good thing to put on your off hand if you have nothing specific in mind otherwise. saints chime until you get to 50 faith at which point Yorshka's Chime is better unless you favour the weapon art on one of them over the other
