Is pyromancy worth using in this game?

Topic. I'm considering changing my sorcerer to a pyromancer. If it's better, I have some questions...


1. Where can I get another pyromancy flame? I heard you get one from your pyromancy tutor if you kill him, but you probably wont be able to upgrade your flame if you do, which sounds like a bad idea.

2. What are the best spells for PvE? Also what are the best spells for PvP?

3. What armor/rings would you recommend?

4. What stats would you focus on for a pyromancer?



Kind of a lot, I know. Nevertheless, if there are any experienced pyromancers here, please share your knowledge with me. Thanks.

Pve is Chaos Fireball/ Dark Fire ball (depends on resistance)
Pvp wierd to use
Armor: Unimportant
Rings: Witch and Swamp ring, Red clutch ring the spellspeed ring
INT Faith and Dex

Pyro is insanely powerful in PvP. Get 40 int/fai, dusk crown, fire clutch and pyro rings. Use fire surge and there's nothing they can do unless they can hit you from a range and ranged attacks are easy to dodge. Just keep chasing them and torching them and they cant get an opening and at that int/fai the damage it causes is insane

its strong if u can hit... IF you can hit. One of the strongest classes just harder to use.

I've been using Chaos Bed Vestiges/Chaos Fire Ball/Black Flame Orb.

Witches Ring, Chloranty ring, Life Ring and that ring that increases casting speed (don't recall the name atm). With a +10 flame and about 34 int/34 faith I can hit anywhere between 300-1500 depending on critical hits/weaknesses/resisstances. It's pretty good for PvE, harder to land in PvP but still does decent dmg.

2. fireball, great fireball, then go to chaos fireball (just pretend chaos bed doesnt exist its baddd)
as far as pvp iron flesh, flame weapon, chaos fireball what i rock and I rek
3. actual armor like fallen knight which is a pyro knight armor
4. pyromancies REQUIRE faith/int to cast now, so depends on pyromancies you wanna cast for me i main int witha lil fiath, some dex, a lil str, ALLOTA hp/attunement

My final stats Im thinking about building for pyro. Currently soul level 137 and about to respec

Vigor- 30
Attunment- 24
End- 20
Vit- 20
Strength- 20
Dex- 20
Int- 40
Fth- 40
Luck- 12

Are these points fine, or are there any points that I should allocate to. What points should I focus on in the future?

It's not worth, Dancer's blades are different than most weapons, only the left handed one actually scales with fire(jnt/faith), right handed one scales only with magic(int), and their damage isn't any good to be honest.

I don't like how pyromancy needs both Int & Faith now.

At least the Chaos pyromancies don't require any stats...so I mean, I guess it's not the worst possible scenario but even so I preferred when all pyromancies only relied on the strength of your Flame and never needed any stats.

I've been running a chaos witch theme and have had a good time in pve +pvp.
I rock great chaos fireball,dark fireball, dark flame, and rapport (perfect witch spell)

(I'd go for 32 attunement if possible)

for pvp no target the great chaos fireball may get a hit and a fire puddle tic....but black flame (ignite) for anyone who busts out a parry shield is....just... sublime...

What would be a good alternative with the same moveset? Also do you know the swords that the guy is using in the video?
