fextralife.wiki says then when he shows up at Firelink, Yuria will ask you to kill him for the blade but she just drones on about Andri

Same problem, though I only found out Orbeck existed near the end of the game.

you need to bring him to firelink first, and to do it you need 10 int

Even after he is at Firelink Yuria just babbles on about being the lord of hollows etc. after finishing Anri's line.

Well this implies you've finished her questline. You can only get the sword DURING the questline.

I can't just give her the ashes, there's no "give" option even if I have the ashes and talking to her does nothing.

You had to do it before. Immediatly after finding him you should have talked to her.

I did... I talked to him, he poofed to Firelink, I talked to Yuri, nothing...

what the actual ♥♥♥♥.... i got yuria, (got lvl 10 intelligence before), talked to orbeck, brought him to firelink, yuria wont mention anything about him(even ater killing him).... anyone help?

Yeah, I know it's weird, there has to be some real specific setup to get the proper event to happen; kinda like with Patches in the Cathedral: open 2 big doors, DON'T raise this bridge, reload the area, etc.

its weird yeah, i was digging deep, wiki, many many many guides, and according to them i should get the quest. there is nothing wrong i have done, so its either a bug or something that dozens of guides have missed

exact same problem. i brought orbec specifically to do that quest and now she doesnt bug me about him any more, just saying how I need to marry anri or something

Well, my questline bugged and even though I should have finished her questline it didn't work... but it did let me give her Orbeck's ashes after I beat the game, so ya know.
