scythe build

[Mr. Mayhem]

ive been trying out a reaper scythe build and just got the great scythe and although the moveset is great the damage on it from what ive experienced is just dreadful anybody else experiencing this or have any tips to make it stronger?

Upgrade it and level Dex. Make it Sharp, too. Mine dealt great damage.

Heavy, Sharp, and Refined are new infusions built around melee, rather than magic. They slightly decrease base damage, but increase scaling of the respective type dramatically.

thanks. have you tried the great corvian scythe as well? i heard thats pretty awesome but not sure if i want to invest anymore into strength

Actually, it's the worst scythe in the game, sorry to say. The Bleed is really high, but in terms of damage, it's the worst-ranking. It's also the heaviest.

are there any other scythes in the game or is the base one my best bet?

Only other scythe is the Pontiff Knight Great Scythe which upgrades to 174 base damage, E strength scaling and A to S dex scaling. Can't infuse it.
