Is Smough's hammer the most damaging weapon in the game?

If not, what is? Yhorm's machete? Black Knight Greataxe? Dragonslayer axe? Fume Ultra Greatsword?

fume got nerfed, dragonslayer axe is too OP! three hits and you're dead. about the rest idk.

Smough's Hammer is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, can't tell you how many times I get one shotted by it even though I dodged behind the guy. The hitbox covers the entire damn arena.

Smough's Hammer on pure STR for one-shot (works better on lower level duels), Greatclub is great as well IF you can parry reliably. Other than that, use a Lothric Greatsword and Dragonslayer Axe if you are a quality, Lightning-Knight. Those numbers are dank too say the least.

Only counting pure physical weapons, at 50 STR/40 DEX it seems that Black Knight Greatsword/Greataxe (660) > Yhorm's Machete (623) > Profaned Greatsword (617) > Smough's Hammer (606) > Fume Greatsword (582)

Counting split damage weapons, at 50 STR/40 DEX/40 FAI Dragonslayer Greataxe (772) and Refined Lothric Greatsword (676) are pretty strong, but might deal less damage because of split defenses.

Do you know what Yhorm's Machete is at 60 strength? I have a character with that weapon and 60 str but I'm at work right now so I can't check. I'm sure it was above 600

Completely forgot about Yhorm. At 60 STR it's about 640 AR, at the same stats (50 STR/40 DEX) it's 623 AR, between Black Knight and Profaned. Updated the other post.

i had a yhorm at 66 str and it had basedmg+338 at +5

True, but it wasn't a big nerf, at least not to its damage. If I recall correctly the main nerf for the dark sword was in its stamina consumption, but I've never really used it so I can't really make a statement on that
