What are the best bleed weapons?
And, any tips on a bleed-focused build? Such as how much Luck should go into my stats?

luck isn't necessary at all, it makes a tiny tiny tiny difference to how much bleed you gain, but it doesn't reduce it enough to even warrant an extra hits or so.

I just run a quality build, warden twinblades are my best and personal favourite , l1-l2 combo procs bleed in one combo.

onikiri isn't that great imo, only bad players fall for the weapon art.

I've been using Onikiri as my main bleed weapon and I gotta say. It's not that good, the range is way too short for you to make a decent combo to inflict bleed. You can literally backstep twice and be out of its range. I thought of twin blades, but are there any other bleed weapons?

onikiri is great against noobs, l2 up close stuns then l2 and bam, but anyone with half a brain won't be hit by the weapon art, besides from that as you say, their too slow and have weak range.

it's just those 2 as twin bleed weapons. next on the list are

carthus curved sword
katanas
carthus shotel

there are larger weapons like the spiked mace, carthus curved greatsword etc. but their too slow to build bleed.

Would a hollow infusion+99 hollow be a waste of an infuusion or no? I don't quite understand the hollow mechanic tbh

Yes, what I have learned with my luck build: large bleed weapons = suck.

My luck build uses claws actually. that L2 closes the gap and few expect it because of so many people are unfamiliar with it.[espcially invading npcs. git rekt Daughter of Crystal Kriemhild] I was using the carthus curved sword.. it does do more damage, and it has beter range.. and builds bled just as fast I would say.. but using the claws leap attack with that regen ring makes me feel like wolverine. fashion souls +1

hollow infusion gives +5 luck for a +10 item at 15 hollowing or above.

it won't effect how many hits you need to bleed because the difference is so small. so I wouldn't worry about it

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Warden Twinblades. That's my go-to weapon for bleed builds, with a hollow infusion even without carthus rouge almost anybody will bleed immediately with one hit into the weapon art combo. Apply carthus rouge and it's a nightmare

Don't mind me, just about done my 12 hour night shift at work and I'm apparently at the brain-dead part

Carthus Curved sword for quality builds.
Flamberge for strength builds.
Carthus Shottel for dex builds.
Spiked mase is fun for a strength luck build :P
