What Happened to the Bloodborne PC Port?
Anyone remember early this year when MSI displayed Bloodborne as a supported game. What ever happened with that?

All we can hope for is an unofficial Bloodborne port made by fans. Someone'll crack it eventually, and when they do, I hope Sony don't see a single damn penny out of it.
Greedy bastards.

No. For refusing to allow PC ports. Other companies allow it. I was reading up and apparantly when asked if it would be ported Sony replied "Consider buying a Playstation 4."
"consider buying our really expensive machine so you can play this one game cause we are greedy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥"

okay?

Valve are ♥♥♥♥♥, too. Problem is for PC gamers, it's Steam or nothing else. They have a monopoly.

Bloodborne is basically just a game that costs hundreds of dollars, which is absolutely insane.
Thousands of people bought PS4's for that one damn game, and never touched them again, with good reason. If it weren't for Bloodborne, the PS4 would have been a complete flop.
Imagine if Dark Souls 3 had cost $200 per person, across all systems.
"It's their game, they can charge what they want for it."
That's not an excuse to be a greedy ♥♥♥♥.

Nope. Bandai Namco owns Dark Souls IP. They port their games to PC, Sony has never done that.

Bamco never had any plans for a dark souls 1 pc release at first. It wasn't until pc users started screaming at them they forced from to port it.
Awesome argument dude. Ofc they wouldn't port it if the game didn't have any demand on other platforms. Bloodborne has the same or even bigger demand for PC port. Sony just protects their investment with their titles. Not just their consoles, but their resources with devs who agreed to do exclusive or semi-exclusive titles.

So stop saying that "public screamed" for stuff. Big companies like those won't to do ANYTHING unless there is dollar signs involved. It's a plain fact that Sony gets more income if they DON'T let their games be ported for wider audience.

Making something in high demand like Bloodborne an exclusive will just drive people to find a way to pirate it, as they should.

Also Bamco had alrady ported it to Xbox and PS. And Sony outright demanded the petitions.

I hear it will come out together with the DkS3 DLC, in some Orange Box-style bundle deal.

I bought my ps4 for bloodborne, a nd final fantasy games, and I bought my xbox one solely for halo and gears of war.

now, it doesn't bother me too much, since I have a large amount of disposable income each month thanks to a well paid job that I've worked up to over the years

but I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy either of them for a game, I honestly wouldn't...

their both 400 quid toasters

they are slow, inefficient toasters.

games look dreadful on them.

they mostly don't even run at 30fps, 10-20fps is the most common range, even in bloodborne it drops so heavily it nearly freezes like a slideshow

communication is stupid, unless you want to buy seperated keyboards and stuff, with maximum of small party chats big groups don't exist.

most players on console are either immature young adults, or just children, the term 'squeeker' is commonly thrown around which means kids with squeaky voices after often heard shouting down headsets

tldr: don't buy toas....consoles unless you really have to.

you can, but origin is the single worst piece of software ever developed.

there's also u play, and GOG games too.

steam is actually pretty good, their sales are fairly often and well priced, downloads always work well for me, chat system works nicely and so on..

funny fact, had a guy on battlefield 4 forums the other day making a complete batching thread that even after he downloaded the dlc on his ps4 from his friends account he still had to pay for it.

that's right, someone complained to EA that they couldn't bypass their systems to own all the DLCs for free..

what a world we live in...
