I had to, I'm so sorry.
For owning an IP they created?
Well ok then, but all businesses are greedy. It's kinda odd to throw stones at Sony for owning a property of their own design, when here at Steam they tried to charge people for mods made by other people.
So let's not forget that everything we use is by owned a greedy cooperation that just wants our $$$$.
They own it dude, they can do whatever they want with it.
That includes promoting their business by having exclusive to their console because it was made by them for their console.
As far as "other companies" I believe you are referring to 3rd party companies. 3rd parties make content and distribute it to every platform because they don't have their own platform.
Sony is a 1st party company that makes their own platform.
X1 games are on PC because it's Microsoft.
I'm sure if Valve makes games exclusive to Steam and if someone asked "will this game ever come to a console?" they would reply "consider buying a PC and installing Steam."
I really don't see your point, other than "whaaaa I don't have what I want."
Then wait to play it when you're not a student. That simple. Sony OWNS those IP's, Deal with it.
