[Need Help] Greirat's Questline

I rescued greirat after I've beaten every boss and he doesnt come back after I sent him to pillage. How can i continue his questline? thanks a lot for answering.

No that's not it... Greirats quest (and any other quest too) only continues if you kill a boss. So as you killed all bosses the only way to continue the questline of Greirat is to start ng+.

No, it's the first time he talks about, he can't die there. But he would have to kill a boss, and there is no boss left in his game. So he has to go NG+.

I made the same mistake
I went through the bosses without looking up questlines
Then again I didnt wanna spoil myself with guides and stuff ill do that in ng+

The problem, I think, is that he went out on the very first pillaging run after the OP beat every boss. As Greirat normally returns from the first pillage after you beat a boss, I think the OP has now way to finish his quest (because all the bosses are dead) and also won't find Greirat's ashes anywhere (because he doesn't die on the first pillaging mission).

There are two characters who can save Greirat - but they both need the Catarina Armor Set. The first is the man who steals it - Unbreakable Patches. He can be found in the Cathedral of the Deep, and will trick you. If you confront him, and fall into his trap in the Firelink Shrine Belltower, and confront him again, he'll become a merchant. He'll also ask where Greirat went when he runs off to Irithyll, and actually owes the guy a favor. Telling him where Greirat went will ensure he'll be rescued by a "peculiar Onion Knight", in other words, Patches. You must send Greirat out to Irithyll and inform Patches of his destination before you defeat Pontiff Sulyvahn or he will cease to ask. Of course, if you buy the Catarina Set, Patches won't have a disguise to rescue Greirat , dooming him. [Tried this and Greirat was found dead in Irithyll: crossed the bridge, sent Greirat to Irithyll, told Patches about him (without purchasing Siegward's armor), then immediately killed the Old Demon King] (Greirat returned safely when I tried: crossing the bridge, sent Greirat to Irithyll, told Patches about him (without purchasing Siegward's armor), then immediately killed Pontiff)

Siegward of Catarina is the other character who can save Greirat, but he'll need his armor for that. After encountering Patches at the Cathedral of the Deep, you can find Siegward - armorless and stuck in a well outside the Cleansing Chapel Bonfire. If you did buy the armor from Patches, you'll need to throw it down to Siegward so he can get out. He'll escape on his own. Do not yet proceed towards the Irithyll Dungeon, because if you do, Siegward of Catarina will leave Irithyll of the Boreal Valley, and will not be around for saving Greirat's life - if you do, Greirat would die upon vanquishing another boss.
•Don't explore Irithyll Dungeon (you can trigger the first bonfire, but no further, and do NOT talk to Siegward in Boreal Valley) or the Profaned Capital before killing one boss. This will cause Greirat to die.
•If you owned Catarina Set from a previous walkthrough, Patches may not rescue Greirat on his own, in this case, give your armor set to Siegward and do NOT purchase Catarina Set from Patches until Greirat is rescued.
•As a fail save, be sure to clear out the Sewer Centipede before proceeding to defeat Sulyvahn.
•If you fail, Greirat's corpse will be found along with his ashes in the sewer area underneath the kitchen in Irithyll.
•I made it all the way to "Church of Yorshka" bonfire before I sent Greirat to plunder. After sending him I immeditely went to "Cleansing Chapel" bonfire to give Siegward his armour before continuing on in Irithyll. I lit the "Distand Manor" bonfire, met Siegward in the kitchen and then after killing Pontiff Sulyvahn, Greirat was alive and well.

When you send Greirat to pillage ithiril valley his ashes are at the lake under the bridge and in a little dungon with all those creepy spider corpse things

Ponion is correct. The only way you'll be able to finish his quest is by killing a boss. If you have indeed killed every boss then there's no way to bring Greirat back.

If by "every boss" you meant "every required boss" then there's still hope through optional bosses (Curse-Rotted Greatwood, Old Demon King, Oceiros, Champion Gundyr, Ancient Wyvern, Nameless King). Otherwise, try again in NG+.
