Why Yellowfinger Heysel won't invade ?

Does offline mode, activated Hidden Body and wearing Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring affect Heysel invasion ?

for her to be summoned you need to offer a pale tounge ( and screw up a questline in the process) For the first time ( as far as i know ) there are no such requirements

approach the tree near the pyromancy tome that is in sunlight and deeper water and this should trigger the invade

You can get Yellowfinger's stuff from a man-grub later on in Rosaria's room, possibly it being Yellowfinger herself.

I got Heysel to show up at Farron's Keep around the spot where you run into the Basilisks. Enter from the back near the large doors leading to the abyss watchers fight if you need a shortcut.

I played online today while in ember mode and Heysel invaded, so i guess player need to be in online mode to get invaded by npc . . .

Not really. The invasions need you to be/stand at pretty precise points. Also you need to offer a pale tongue either way to summon Heysel for the gesture which in turn won't let you finish Sirris Questline. You need to do that before killing the abyss watchers. So yeah..... You can not get all gestures in NG.

Sry for grave digging but yes you HAVE to be in online mode and emberd to fight Yellowfinger in Crucifixion Woods. Spawn triggers around the area where you fought the two mad spirits.

Actually yes, since a later patch, players need to be in Online mode to experience NPC invasions. It's a bug of some sort that Fromsoft haven't bothered to fix.

I'm not sure if this is due to playing Steam in Offline mode, or playing the game in Offline mode. I've not tested remaining Online in Steam, but going Offline in-game.

Online mode is not true. I most play offline and I get NPC invasion all the time. In order to trigger npc invasions you have to embered. Much like if you were in online mode.

She only shows up at certain trigger spots while embered. GENERALLY near the crabs...in tte water... where watchdogs want you to be...

Online mode is not true. I most play offline and I get NPC invasion all the time. In order to trigger npc invasions you have to embered. Much like if you were in online mode.

I know how the invasions work, and I'm always embered. I've personally tested that when Steam (not the in-game option) is in Offline Mode, that NPCs WILL NOT invade whatsoever. Nor do quest related signs appear such as Sirris' or Anri's in their respective locations despite all prior requirements being met.

Loading up Steam in Online Mode resolves the issue, and consequently rebooting Offline Mode results in the issues resurfacing again. I can assure you that playing in Steam Offline Mode has an affect on NPC invasions.

However, NPC white signs that you can summon (as opposed to being summoned to their world) will still appear regardless.
