Is Eleonora a good weapon?

Looking for a new weapon to let me finish up the rest of the game and the move set with this weapon is great.

Crap damage, crap scaling and can't be buffed or infused.

Literally the worst axe in the game.

Axes have never been very good in dark souls because they are about as fast as greatswords but are much shorter in reach and does less damage. Every weapon is usable in PvE though.

Yeah it appears in this game that the builds while to make it valiable certain weapons are still useless and there are lots of them.

Crescent axe. Or thrall axe. Or many other axes. Axes are pretty good this game if you know how to use tham.

Certain weapons? I could only list 10 weapons tops that are useless. One of them being eleonora, and an other the broken sword.

You could use eleonora for that buff. A twin bleed weapon on right, carthus rogue, and eleonora on left for that weapon art.

for a short, one handed axe I'd say use the dragon slayer axe, the damage is good, many of the end game bosses are weak to lightning, and I LOVE the moveset. If you want a pure physical damage axe, I would go for the Crescent Axe, it technically is a halbert, but it got a similar moveset as the dragon slayer axe,, both weapons are great in PvE and PvP.
But as already mentioned, if you are mainly looking for a PvE weapon, you can use anything, sure, some have crap damage, but in PvE, it is not very important as long as you have the stats to use a weapon.

elenora buff doesn't work on other weapons even if you have it in off hand after buff :(
never worked for me tested it at one point

It also buffs allies. Maybe they get the buff?

nope that must be patched I tried that too, thought I was doing good for a friend as a phantom but he said he got no buff :(
