How to access cut content?

How do I access cut content aka how do I change the look of armor I'm wearing into that of say yhorm the giant? Sanadsk on Youtube was somehow able to wear cut content armors using cheat engine I would assume, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it.

Item swap in Cheat Engine does not appear to work as the dropped item becomes unable to pick up until it is changed back to a non cut content item. Is there a way that I'm missing that allows you to wear cut content armor?

I do it offline to decrease chances of ban, but I don't do pvp/coop in dark souls really anyway so it doesn't matter to me.

It's possible they patched out some of the methods of accessing the content.

you likely have to directly set yourself to be equipping it
