1080 makes it chug to 29-35.
Well, I max out most games out today, so... I'm only asking as it's a hit or miss with Ds as the first was badly optimized where as the second seemed better. But thank you for your input I guess.
I might buy and try then, worst comes to worst I'll just refund it.
I can play most new games with med to high settings. This game is terribly optimized and was very buggy I refunded it :(
That said, I'm running it on a GeForce 950Ti (which I think is about the same level of your videocard) and an Athlon II X4 640 (which was mid-range in 2010, and it's a massive bottleneck right now) and I'm getting a fairly steady 30+ FPS at 1440x900. Not beautiful, to be sure, but perfectly playable considering my specs. You should do notably better.
I mean you'll get stable 30 fps I believe.
Also the game isn't WELL optimized, but it's okey. I've seem much worse optimized games, even PC exclusive ones.
DS2 whilst not considered the best, is freakingly well optimised. It never drops a frame. The netcode and pvp is solid too. DS3 runs like crap, looks like crap (based on the fact its asthetically identical to the ps4 version regardless of settings), and the netcode is broken. Have Fromsoft addressed any of this? No. They'd rather take weeks at a time to adjust weapon stats...
Priorities...
