Please explain the time-wimey stuff of dark souls to me.
"We are amidst strange beings, in a strange land. The flow of time itself is convoluted; with heroes centuries old phasing in and out. The very fabric wavers, and relations shift and obscure. There's no telling how much longer your world and mine will remain in contact" - Solaire

"Many kingdoms rose and fell on this tract of earth; mine was by no means the first. Anything that has a beginning also has an end. No flame, however brilliant, does not one day splutter and fade. But then, from the ashes, the flame reignites, and a new kingdom is born, sporting a new face" - Straid

"It is called Lothric, where the transitory lands of the Lords of Cinder converge" - Ds3 intro

So everytime the flame is rekindled, the land changes? Straid mentions "this tract of earth". So, does that mean only the land where the first flame is changes? Is this why other nations remain intact, like astora? Going back to what solaire and the third intro said, does Dark Souls 3 take place where all previous first flame nations form together into one new nation? When lothric formed, it brought with it people from the past?

Also, there is constant mention of the north
"And in this land, the Undead are corralled and led to the north, where they are locked away, to await the end of the world" -Ds1
"Long ago, in a walled off land, far to the north, a great king built a great kingdom." - Ds2
"In venturing north the pilgrims discovered the truth of the old worlds" - Ds3
Does this have any significance?

It's just nonsense to make it easier for devs to make the "plot", same applies to the maps.
It's like bible, you can always say someting like it's convoluted when a plot hole is found.
