Camera keeps tilting and spinning with xbox one controller
Hi I have recently got dark souls 3 and i have plugged my xbox one controller via a micro usb cable plus i have my wireless mouse and keyboard plugged in. The camera on the games keeps tilting downwards and i have tried to look at the other post with peeps having similar problem but the solutions don't seem to work. Please help, many thanks.

Try unplugging your mouse and keyboard to check for conflicts. If there are pc drivers for the controller for pc, give those a whirl.

Hey, Xone user here too. Two things: 1) make sure your mouse is standing still, I have a laser mouse and I'm using a couchmaster (because playing on the couch, hurhur), and sometimes the mouse is slightly moving and the high dpi makes the camera tilt 2) make sure your keyboard is i.O I just bought a new cheap keyboard yesterday, I guess the old one drank too much coffee, it always made my usb devices reconnect, the new one solved that issue, now everything is working.

PS Dude, this controller is a piece of ... first off, R1 and L1 are designed for kids, I have to position my fingers different then before because now it's so small and I miss hitting it on places where it triggers the button and second, the usb connection is the cheapest thing I have ever seen, I now used hot glue to make it stable, it comes off so freaking easy, it's a joke for such an expensive controller, I guess they want to force you to buy the wireless adapter which shuld be included in the first place for 55€.

Exact same issue using an xbox 360 controller. I am trying to find a solution because it is driving me insane but no luck so far. Only happens when I have the controller plugged in.

I tcan really just be another plugged in usb device or some sort of k+m emulation software that causes this. So well, it's weird, but thousands of people play this game with an xbox controller on pc, so it can't be that.

hi just tried plugging out the wireless mouse keyboard adapter but that doesn't seem to help. So what are the drivers i should be looking to fiddle around with or disable or uninstall. Or is there anything else i can do. Thanks for the help so far

Actually just kidding looks like that only fixed the issue for rocket league. Camera is still tilting and spinning in DS3.... Still trying to find a solution.

Several solutions have been suggested. It would be helpful if you listed the solutions that you have tried.

From what I have been reading this seems to be called "stick drift". It looks like it happens to controllers when they have such a small dead zone if any at all. The stick is just barely being pushed a direction. I am going to try taking my controller apart to see what I can do to try and fix it. My controller is pretty much brand new but it looks like it can happen any time, just bad luck. Assuming of course that that is the issue and its not somthing else, but I havent really found anyone who has solved the issue with drivers or anything yet.

If it's brand new and you bought it local and you believe it to be a manufacturer defect, take it back and get another one instead. If you take it apart, you're likely to void any applicable warranty.
