In fact, at most times the Ashen One is in, the Firelink Shrine doesn't exist. Though, because it's their home, they can return to it regardless
Same deal with people, like Solaire says in DS1, the world is unstable enough that some people can "come and go"; but all people the Ashen One wants to affiliate himself with exist at the same time, even if they're from different times, quite conveniently.
Also, all people who are affiliated with you take note of the geography-warping, like Cornyx
So why is there no Sens fortress and stuff: because things change with time. That simple.
Right?
