Honestly, that's just silly. It's understandable that there is a Wolf there, seen as the Abyss Watchers are The Artorias Fanclub, but it doesn't have to be Sif... And that's totally NOT Sif.
Tssh.. FINE.
I went and watched the video. Well, he pretty much told us what we know already, but I still don't agree with THAT wolf being Sif.
He repeatidly mentions that "there are no coincidences" in this game, but Sif just HAPPENED to shrink in size and leave the actual grave of Artorias in order to lock himself into a Tower? Can't this just be an "Altar", like the one down at the Mound-Makers? "How does he give you the shield and ring".... well... how does a pile of bones give you a sword?
Instead of inventing silly stories why not ipotize that sif is an ancestor of the wolf of farron?
1-He doesnt look like sif
2-Sif got killed by the chosen undead
3-Sif didn't possess ♥♥♥♥ of artorias.
*both his sword and shield (in "mint" conditions) are TRANSPOSED with the soul of sif, he did not drop them upon death. What happened to those "relics" after the end of ds1 is unknown.
*The wolf ring in ds1 was in a random spot in darkroot garden.
Yeap, pretty much.
Regarding 2 though... We don't really know what is and isn't canon from our actions in Dark Souls 1. Well, there are some obvious ones like the Chosen Undead being the first to take Gwyn's place and officially start the cycle, killing the 4 holders of Souls, but that's about it.
Is it mentioned in Dark Souls 3 that an unknown travel, unknown undead or the chosen undead killed Sif?
