the problem with cracked red eye orbs

when i invade people i use cracked red eye orbs. (please tell me if there is an infinite use version of this) when i invade and the person goes into a boss fight i get sent back to my world ok i understand that but i lose the red eye orb and its anoying. i dont have an infinite amount of times to invade and this has happened to me like 4 times. its just bugging me that i lose the red eye when they enter the boss fight. why cant the game give it back to me when this happens.

You'll get a reusable version soon, if you keep talkng to the guy that gave you the eyes first at the shrine. He will give you a key. There is a doorway in the high wall that will lead you to where you can pick one up, if you deserve it.
