thats a very flawed comparison, unlike the caestus and parrying dagger, weapons have various movesets and damage meaning that every weapon is unique, the caestus is just more efficent compared to the parrying dagger.
Someone who is skilled at parrying would do better with the caestus than someone with a parrying dagger
Well, there you have it. People who aren't very good at parrying are better off with the parry dagger.
Dagger has 12 startup and 10 active frames, parrying shield has 8 startup and 12 active.
