Agreed. for a new player to the series. Picking the wrong class can be the difference between getting to the shrine in 15min or 3 hours.
Yup. I remember when I first started as deprived in DS3 because I played DS1 and DS2 with some skill and then get destroyed by Gundyr because of the game's faster speed messing me up. I got the hint and restarted as a Warrior only to destroy the guy. Nowadays deprived start is a joke.
AKA it matters at the start. When you get better, it will not.
Feeling this is one of those 'wut?' times.
Having said that, if you learn to dodge for now, it won't matter in the long run, but since you're that early in the game, I'd try Knight.
