the luck build - anri sword

im trying to decide on stats to optimize my damage. im lvl 130 and now im rolling like this-

im trying to make my anri straight sword to do more damage but mugenmonkey is lying to me- it said that with this build ill get 530ar on it. any suggestions?

no bleed or poison? as far as i know luck build with hollow weapons and bleed is some of the highest damage you can get. and you get +5 luck per hollow weapon or shield upgraded to +10 in an active slot so it saves you a few lvl ups for other stuff. You need to have at least 30 hollowing i think
EDIT: i play this way with a flamberge and stone parma and its fun but a fast weapon has a clear advantage of leading to bleed bursts much quicker.

i have a hollowed caestus in my left hand for those +5 luck, and my secondary weapong is the duel katana thingys. thats for bleed. i was just wondering how i could make the best use out of anri's sword AR-wise

I would say buying carthus rouge in bulk is probably your best bet, other than scaling what else would you do?

Sadly. Tumblebuff from ds1 is back. You can buff EVERY weapon atm if you know how it works. Just saw a video of it.

go luck/faith, take anri's sword, buff it with blessed weapon (or lightning if you really, really have to have the ectra damage), put a blessed shield on your back, use the sun princess ring. take healing miracles and run just blue estus

To go back to OP's original question and with out exploiting glitches,

The weapon calculators for Anri's sword are broken as Anri's sword has odd scaling.

We can see your load out but not your stats lay out which does not really help. 40 luck is the soft cap for it's AR.. Strength and Dex also scale it's AR. As people are saying, using Rouges, miracles, and sorceries will give it a good boost, the latter 2 more then the rouge but require more stats.

Currently from what i have look into Anri's sword with spell buffs on it is the 2nd highest DPS weapon in the game, only out done by the DOT DOT DOT ESTOC!

At 40STR/40DEX/40LCK stats on my character my Anri's sword +5 is 204+264 or 468. Dont know if that helps

These wikis or some site needs give us some numbers for the hollow gem infusions. I am curious on their damage increase with luck. is every weapon the same exactly scaling with luck or what man?

Mugenmonkey isn't perfect. Neither are the wikis. They both have incomplete weapon data. I mean, just take a look at Rotten Ghru Spear, I was flying blind when I was doing my Luck Ghru build because that weapon has like *no* data on it atm.
