What really happens to Anri when we marry him/her?

Silly lore dumb question, but here we go...

Well, I guess we get his/her dark sigils and thus we become more hollow? I guess... but what about Anri? What happens to him? Does he/she becomes fully hollow? Becomes a thrall? Gets lobotomized? Becomes your spouse in a life full of kinky beef jerk skin sex (as far hollow sex goes...)?

What do you guys think? Such a weird ceremony to get married.

have you guys actually watched the ending? anri is there you know. unless a random hollow decided to buy his armor and use it for whatever reason.

Anri is a hollow from the start. After marrying Anri, you can kiss her/him I guest. She/He is there in the Usurpation of Fire ending among the hollows... If you bought her/his armor set from the Handmaid, she'll/he'll appear as a naked hollow. If you not, she'll/he'll appear there as Elite Knight.

actually, in my game, after the cutscene the blade was in her face.

just looked again in the cutscene the blade goes to the hands area but afterwards the model has it in the face
