why does my Estus shard does not work

How many do you have in total? If you have 15 (that can be split between ash estus and regular estus), then you've hit the cap. If not, then you have to rest at a bonfire for your new flask to fill.

How many flasks do you have and are you sure you have a shard?

I tried to increase the amount of my Estus usage with the Estus shard. But the balcksmith at base told me that I do not have any Estus shard. I only have 3 now.

That's... really weird. You tried reloading the area or restarting the game to refresh him?

I tried to restart the game. does not work. I have the ps4 version tho. May be they will fix this bug

You have 3? Did you forget the ashen estus flask right at the start? Maybe that is the reason it doesn't work

Yes, blacksmith won't upgrade estus flask if player doesn't pickup ashen estus flask. Go to very start of the game and pickup item at statue of Knight Oscar

bruh its not just old the threads 5 years old. if they guy was still playing he obviously fixed it

He didn't. Big Hat Logan told me that Andre got tired of the OPs ♥♥♥♥ and he beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of him in front of the shrine handmaiden. Instead of helping him, she simply enlisted Patches to finish him off and boom, his ashes were right there for the taking. Unfortunately she wasn't able to add anything of much use from them to sell other than some rubbish and a couple of dung pies.
