Champion Gundyr IS the hardest boss *proof*

I've seen some claims that he's harder than Nameless King, and the hardest boss in the game. I decided to test out that theory! Much love :D

nameless king is pretty docile compared to grundyrs 2nd phase

Nameless king is very easy, 1st phase is a complete and utter joke... so, yeah..
difficulty is subjective and all that, I guess

it's funny, nameless king? no problems once I learned his moves, gundyr? beat him first try, and have done hundreds of kills as a sunbro, all a cakewalk.

pontiff? ♥♥♥♥ him, I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate that mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥, I'm ♥♥♥♥ at predicting his moves and timing, I'll admit, I got a sunbro to help for him, I've got 3 chars, and even in ng+5 I still can't time him properly.

gundyr is the gwyn fight of DS3.
if you parry him, he is one of the easiest bosses in the game.
if not, he is hard to beat.

i personally had more trouble with nameless king :/

I found Gundyr comparably easy to the Nameless king, since I knew his patterns somewhat from the first fight against him at the very start of the game I was mildly prepared (besides he doesn't go dragon abyss monster ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in a second phase)

Nameless King however took me at least a dozen attempts or so

With my pyromancer I farmed him for souls. It was the easiest to beat as a sunbro.

The one I had the most problem on was Dragonslayer Armor, because every host died before I even touched the fog door by falling down or getting rekt simply.

I hate Gundyr by the way. And love Dragonslayer armor (except when I'm summon..). And Nameless King I don't hate, but I don't love that much either.

Really? A few sunlight spear and he melts. In both forms. And getting those spears is super easy on him. Thrust attack opens him up completely to them.

Nameless king gave me tons of trouble since he's lightning resistant in 2nd phase. Took a while to to forget out to use Darkmoon blade buff and then had to learn movement for fight.

Comparitvely all boss are horribly easy when you learn when to time a point blank SS. Final boss is most annoying one in that it takes longer since he doesn't pause for opening much

Edit: dragonslayer is also lightning resistant but buffing with Darkmoon makes it really easy

hell no, nameless king gives you a lot of opportunity to read his attacks,gundyr on the other hand? i just count myself lucky that no one gave him another pair of hands.

Champion gundyr is easy.

I've personally found Gundyr's parry timings to be some of the easiest in the game. Even when I fought him for my first time and didn't parry it only took me 3-4 tries. The Nameless King though... every time I fight him it takes me six or more attempts. He gives me more trouble than any other boss in the game.

Lol. To be fair, you're pretty good at parrying.

I beat him with Demon Fists which was pretty fun. I did the same with Nameless King, but it was a bit harder.....

parry chaining him is BS, how could you parry a half of a ton spear?
