High Lord Wolnir impossible to beat?
I died 3 times in a row with 2 phantoms on this boss without beating even half of his health.
Is there any way to kill this SOB? We tried hitting his bracelets, but the little skeletons eventually killed us all, or his dark breath or whatever.

I find him the easiest boss in the game but all of us have different experiences. And if you don't think about the bracelets, he has a lot of health and it's very easy to get caught unaware by the mist during a lengthy fight

There's no trick to him, you just have to learn his moveset. If you slip it takes a while for him to follow up so your mistakes aren't punished. Dodge to his right and wait for his combo to end to attack him. If he starts hitting the ground slowly with his mace run away from him and wait for the ring of fire to fade completely. And when he's down on the ground with low health GET AWAY FROM HIM and only return when he explodes
i beat him first try.... avoid the black mist. youll die. lure the mobs away then run towards his bracelets. repeat. Thats how I beat him. I actually thought it was boring....
i didnt even realize how to beat him tbh till i already saw 3 bracelets dissapear hahahahaa

-Attack right bracelets first.

-Only attack the bracelets.

-If he is using his breath attack, get as close to his body as is safe so he wont push up.

-Don't worry about dodging his slam attack or his crawling attack - instead run to position yourself where the bracelets will stay and dodge last second. Run first, dodge second.

-He is quite random - he might spam his skeleton summons and draw his sword and never breath (this happened to me), so don't be discouraged if he seems tough. Eventually he'll act incredibly stupid and you'll find him easy.

-To avoid that random element, spam the bracelets as soon as they land. If your running to them, you need correct your positioning when he attacks. You should be right next to them when they land.

Hope this helps.

I already beat this boss, but both new areas are ridiculously hard, so I bid my farewell to the game for a while. This 17 hours's been great, worth the money for the hours played. :)

Yeah Irythill was a brick wall difficulty spike for me as well at first, but man you'll miss so much great stuff if you p*ssy out now. Take a break and come back with a fresh head, there's waay too much cool stuff ahead. Once you manage to deal with the new enemies it's smooth sailing.

You can always summon someone - it gets much easier on next playthroughs and you will avoid frustration for now.

The other area is Smouldering Lake with that huge worm and those annoying jumping goats or whatever. They always either grab me or jump kill me. The hardest basic enemies thus far for me.
